We are delighted to announce we have teamed up with Britton Outdoors again and organised another members Hike. We will take on Coumshingaun in the Comeragh mountains on Saturday March 25th.
We will meet at 9am in the Coumshingaun trailhead car park and follow a well worn path heading up a steep climb to the top of Kilclooney Mountain.
Please be aware this is a fun guided hike and we will cater for ALL capabilities so please be patient if the pace is slower than you are used to.
On the way up this climb you will have some wonderful views with Coumshingaun lake far below you and further afield looking across to the Waterford coast.
The weather can get extremely cold at the top so please layer up, wear sensible waterproof shoes and be sure to bring a decent pair of gloves.
Once we reach the top and everyone is rested, fed & watered we will make our way back down after numerous photo ops!!!
This is a day to enjoy being a member of District and to get out and have a different type of workout with like minded people.
We have secured 2 experienced guides for the day so for that there will be a cost involved.
Numbers are limited so please ensure to click the link and book in as soon as possible.
Please note we cannot accept under 16s on this hike.
We will have some goodies on the day and I’m sure plenty of craic.
Any questions at all please contact Gemma Ince on firstname.lastname@example.org
