Hatha Yoga returns for a new autumn course Wednesday October 18th here at District Health & Leisure from 7.10pm
This is a 75 minute 6 week course open to members and non members.
Our instructor will guide you through 6 weeks of movement and positions that will develop your strength and flexibility aswell as improve mental health through relaxation.
Hatha Yoga uses practices in a traditional way, asanas (postures) to balance the body and mind through the physical body, pranayama (breathing practices) to work on the energy body (equated to Ki or Chi in other systems) and meditation to calm and focus the mind.
This course is open to mixed abilities.
